Frequently Asked Questions
What is Baobun?
Baobun is a marketplace that turns shopping into entertainment. Our first format is the mystery box.
What are mystery boxes?
Mystery boxes on Baobun let you reveal a product from a lineup of options. You can instantly sell back what you reveal and withdraw earnings, or have it shipped home.
Are Dreams Inc items authentic?
Yes, every product on Baobun is genuine. If an item isn't authentic, we'll refund its market value at the time of reveal and any shipping fees you paid for it.
Can I see what’s inside a mystery box before I open it?
Yes, every box displays what items you can reveal from it, the chances of revealing each item, and what you can sell each item back for.
How does the instant sell back work?
As soon as you open a box and reveal a product, Baobun makes an offer to buy it back from you at 100% market value. If you accept and sell it back, you receive account credits that can be withdrawn to your bank account or spent on more Baobun purchases.
How do you determine an item’s market value and buyback offer?
We determine an item’s market value based on pricing data from both the retail and resale markets. Our buyback offers are 100% of market value.
Is every reveal fair?
We show the exact reveal chance for every possible item you can get from a mystery box. Those chances are the same for everyone, and they’re the ones used when your box opens.
